Description

MPO/MTP connector is a type of optical fiber connector. It is often used as a connector type for high speed transmission standards.

Such as the IEEE standard for 40G/100G transmission. Therefore, this MPO/MTP trunk cable is widely used in data center.

Trunk cable is composed of small size OM3 or OM4 optical cable and 12 core pre-terminated MPO/MTP connectors. MPO connector

is a multi-core connector standard. Usually it’s 12 core optical fiber in a row, which can support one (12 cores) or more

rows(24 cores or more) of optical fibers in the same MPO connector.
